Partners in Church Consulting was founded in 2004 to serve as a partner with growing evangelical churches. Its founder and president, Lamar Slay, had worked for one of the leading fundraising companies for over five years. This company led some of the most successful campaigns ever conducted in many of the leading churches in America. Through this experience, Lamar realized that often churches in capital campaigns have many other needs. He also felt it was beneficial to have a longer working relationship with churches than is possible with the typical campaign.

Lamar also saw a great need for assistance in many churches in the “Guest Services” area. Having had years of experience in this area, it was only natural for a key focus of PCC to be in the area of making visitors feel welcome and at “home” when they attend your church.
